This policy explains what CleanWise stores, why we store it, and the controls you have over it. Last updated January 2026.
Information we collect
Account details (name, business name, email, phone), operational data you enter (jobs, clients, addresses, entry instructions, timesheets, photos), and technical data such as device type, IP address and app usage needed to keep the service secure and reliable.
How we use it
To run the features you asked for — scheduling, dispatch, the crew app, invoicing and payroll — to support you when something breaks, to detect abuse, and to improve the product in aggregate. We do not sell personal information and we do not use client addresses or entry codes for anything beyond delivering the service.
Sharing and processors
We share data only with vetted processors that power parts of the service (hosting, payments, SMS and email delivery), each bound by contract to use it solely on our instructions. We also disclose data when required by law or to protect people from harm.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Sensitive fields such as client entry codes are access-controlled and revealed only to the assigned crew at the time of the job, and every reveal is logged. We run an annual SOC 2 Type II audit.
Retention and deletion
Operational records are kept while your account is active and for the periods required by tax and labor law. You can export your data at any time and request deletion of your account; we remove or anonymize records within 30 days of a verified request, except where retention is legally required.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may access, correct, export, restrict or delete your personal information, and object to certain processing. Email privacy@cleanwise.example to exercise these rights — we respond within 30 days.
